The Bachelor of Science in Business Management Completion program is an aggressive 18 month undergraduate program that provides our students with the intrinsic knowledge and strategic-thinking skills that are necessary to develop and gain a competitive advantage in the exciting field of business management. This program provides students with a solid foundation in various disciplines of business, computers, finance, management and spreadsheets. Students that pursue this degree become effective and efficient managers, develop their leadership skills, increase their confidence in both personal and professional management settings and they are positive role models in their communities.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Management Completion program provides our students a broad spectrum of coursework in modern sociological studies, speech and communication strategies, environmental science, historical movements in art or music, statistics, politics, popular culture and public policy, modern global history and government, geography and art or music appreciation. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can pursue supervisory and/or management positions in a variety of employment opportunities. Obtaining a baccalaureate degree provides the student with a wealth of opportunities in a wide range of careers. For example, students may obtain employment as a Marketing Manager, Logistics Manager, Management Trainee, Team Manager, Inside Wholesaler, Sales Professional, Public Relations Manager, Office Manager, Administrator, Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, Database Specialist, Business Development Manager, Outside Sales Person, or Operations Manager.
The student who combines relevant work experience with their baccalaureate degree will have professional career advancement opportunities available to them such as Manager of Creative Services and Advertising, Property Manager, Executive Sales Manager, Senior Technical Recruiter, Community Relations Coordinator, District Manager, Marketing Director, Director of Marketing and Product Management, or Federal Government Business Development Representative. Obtaining a baccalaureate degree will provide the student with a wealth of opportunities in a wide range of careers.
For program enrollment and eligibility, students must have an earned associate degree in a field related to the objectives of the Bachelor of Science in Business Management Completion program. Centura College considers a program to be related to the business completion degree if it prepares the student with significant business skills, management techniques, and administrative practices associated with the contemporary business environment and/or specific technical environment, and offers the possibility for students to become managers or supervisors within their individual fields.
